In the midst of a marriage-ending fight, Chloe receives a call that an old college friend has passed away. She decides to round up the old crew to her Connecticut mansion to mourn and reunite: Mark (the dick), Annie (the suppressed wife), Aaron (the sweet but aloof husband), and Ian (the broody artsy one). Ian has brought his new flame, which complicates Chloe’s plans to rekindle their past relationship. Aaron and Annie hope to use this time to spice up their love live that’s been newly-ruined by the birth of their child, and trust fund Mark, well, he’s still a dick. Over wine and other substances, and through laughter and tears, they reminisce about the good times they had, lament an adulthood that was not what they expected, and, oh shit, when’s the funeral?
